The Corporate Compliance Technology (CT) organization supports regulatory and compliance requirements of the Compliance line of business with applications that monitor and report on suspected anti-money laundering activities along with screening activities of individuals and companies.
 
The Financial Crimes Investigations Technology team (FCI), a part of CT, develops workflow and reporting solutions used by JPMC's investigations and operations teams to analyze, document, and report various forms of suspicious activity in the BSA/AML and Fraud domains. The FCI team is seeking a self-motivated and passionate multi-functional Technology Business Analyst who will be responsible for analyzing and documenting stories for large, complex, and highly-visible programs. The candidate must have experience in all phases of the software development lifecycle.
 
The candidate will need to be proficient with delivering software using agile frameworks, will be expected to apply agile best practices, and work with scrum teams.
 
The candidate must be effective in working within and managing across geographically distributed and culturally diverse work-groups.
 
 
Requirements:
  • Business Analysis and Project engagement experience in the areas of Financial Crime Compliance – AML/ Fraud Case Management (Preferred skill, not required)
  • Gather business requirements and understand the business needs, assess and analyze data requirements
  • Background/experience in implementing solutions for Machine Learning, Big Data, & Robotics.
  • Excellent Requirement Elicitation and Requirements Management Skills.
  • Strong exposure in performing Gap Analysis, Impact Analysis and provide authoritative suggestions/recommendations.
  • Create business and functional requirement documents, Story Cards, Technical specification documents.
  • Perform complex analysis in an evolving data environment
  • Solid understanding of Quality Assurance process including the ability to create test plans, test cases, and execute test cases
  • Strong interpersonal and management skills to deal with clients spread across diverse geographies
  • Work with the Technical Analyst and development team to ensure that they understand the specifications. This includes acting as a liaison between our clients and tech team to document and translate functional specifications into technical requirements
  • Experience as a Technical Business/Data Analyst required
  • Excellent data analysis and problem solving skills  
  • Ability to perform complex analysis in an evolving data environment
  • Must have experience doing data validation and Source to Target Mapping
  • Solid experience writing SQL queries 
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with multiple priorities at the same time
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong SDLC knowledge/experience
  • Self starter- must be productive with minimal direction
  • High level ownership and responsibility
  • Team player with strong listening, consultative, influencing, negotiating and communication skills
  • Solid understanding of the agile methodologies.
Preferred Qualification:
  • Strong Background in Banking Industry - AML (Anti-Money Laundering); AML Certification preferred but not required
  • Proven record to adapt quickly to changing priorities.
  • Strong time management and multi-tasking skills, and an ability to work well under deadlines, with attention to detail
