The Corporate Treasury and CIO (CTC) Valuation Control Group is an independent group whose responsibility is to ensure that the assets and liabilities that are held on the Balance Sheet of the CTC are fairly valued. These include fixed income securities (MBS, ABS, Corporate Bonds, etc.) and interest rate hedge instruments across the consumer and corporate space in North America and internationally. The group also develops and implements methodologies for calculating fair value adjustments. CIO VCG reports to the firmwide Valuation Control Group and to the firm’s CFO.
The candidate will be responsible for interfacing with internal (front office, middle office, technology) and external (regulators, auditors, vendors) partners to collect market data, perform research, and obtain comparable pricing information. The candidate will also execute many ad-hoc research inquiries from senior management, across all products in the inventory. The candidate will be expected to maintain a close relationship with all traders, to ensure accuracy of analysis and availability of all transaction information.
