Execution Services Futures & Options is responsible for all aspects of electronic trading for Listed Derivatives across the globe. The team engages clients from origination to onboarding as well as sustained execution consulting and system administration. The team drives product improvements and innovations within the Listed Derivatives space working with technology teams, internal partners, various exchanges, regulators, and clients.
ES F&O is responsible for agency electronic trading of Global Listed Derivatives. This involves new client engagement, trading desk coverage & execution consulting, input into further improving and innovating the electronic trading product, and support & administrative duties.
Key Accountabilities/Major Responsibilities:
Client Engagement – Drive organic growth as well as origination focusing on locally based clients and those trading into local markets; this may include prospects located globally trading global Listed Derivatives markets.
Electronic Trading Client Coverage & Execution Consulting – Client Coverage role in best execution for Listed Derivatives markets including use of Algorithms, discuss market structure and mechanics of trading, contingency execution of client orders, and post-trade analytics.
Electronic Trading Systems Administration – Global client connectivity for various electronic trading systems executing into global exchanges.
Tasks include but not limited to:
-Coordinating with IT for technical setup for go-live
-Coordinating with Client, Risk Team, Limits Team on trading limits
-Market Data distribution management
-Trading system vendor management
Exchange Product Management – Interface with local exchanges to ensure that JPM is properly aligned to the exchanges offerings. Be conduit to the global IT and business teams to communicate local requirements to the global platform product.
Electronic Trading Product Management – Work with relevant IT and business teams to develop / innovate platform product to drive electronic trading business.
Regulatory and Audit – Interface with Audit and Compliance department to ensure that Exchange and Regulator inquiries are addressed. Ensure that ECS F&O operations are compliant to internal and external rules and regulations.
- Analytical skills, good understanding of computer science / engineering
-Fluent in English, other languages including Chinese, Korean and Japanese are advantageous
-Client facing skills such as presentation, marketing, and clear communication
-Candidate will be required to pass Regulatory exams after joining to continue in the role.
