JP Morgan Asset Management Fixed Income Trading Technology team is responsible for development and maintenance of Trading Systems/Applications.
 
Roles & Responsibilities:
 
As Software Engineer in Trading Technology you will be responsible for the following:
  • Engage with stakeholders across LOB teams to design, develop and maintain test automation framework components for common application framework.
  • Analyze applications, implement automation solutions for automated testing of trading applications/products
  • Develop, Maintain and Execute automation scripts
  • Design, develop and maintain automation frameworks/libraries, tools
  • Engage with project managers, business analysts, developers, testers, and product owners to ensure that all test automation activities occur in a timely fashion
  • An ability to effectively communicate concepts and ideas to team members and traders
General Qualifications:
 
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or Information Systems required
  • Understanding of financial industry (FX, Futures, Interest Rate Swaps) is required
  • Knowledge of the Trading flows for GFICC and Asset Management is highly desired
  • Familiarity with programming languages (preferably JAVA) is required
  • Understanding of FX and Bonds/Treasury Futures trade flows is highly desired
  • Experience with relational databases and knowledge of SQL is highly desired
  • A desire to work with and learn a variety of technologies (Java, Kotlin, IntelliJ)
  • A passion for driving quality and improving the productivity of the software development lifecycle
  • Experience with a variety of testing methodologies (Integration Testing, Behavior Driven Development, Test Driven Development) as well as UI and other automated testing tools is highly desired
  • Experience with Test Automation tools such as UFT, LISA, TestComplete, or Selenium is highly desired
  • Experience in continuous integration tools such as TeamCity/Jenkins, Git Version Control, IntelliJ
  • Experience working in an Agile team
