The Legal Department of JPMorgan Chase & Co is responsible for the provision of legal services to the Corporation and is organized by practice groups that generally align with the Corporation’s lines of business and corporate staff areas.  This structure encourages legal teams and businesses and staff areas to discuss legal, regulatory and business developments effectively and in a timely manner.

 A Documentation Specialist is needed to work with Real Estate attorneys supporting JPM’s Global Real Estate group, responsible for JPM’s owned and leased real estate portfolio worldwide.

The position is located in Columbus, Ohio.

The Documentation Specialist would be responsible for preparing lease amendments and lease renewals; drafting, reviewing and negotiating ATM leases; assisting attorneys in document review and preparation; reviewing leases to address facilities management issues, etc. The candidate must be familiar with the real estate business from an owner's and/or a tenant's perspective. 


  • BA or higher education degree; 
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Paralegal drafting and negotiating commercial real estate transaction documents;
  • Able to handle multiple assignments and competing priorities;
  • Pragmatic with good business sense;
  • Ability to work under the pressure of deadlines;
  • Strong organizational and project management skills;
  • Detail oriented;
  • Excellent analytical and drafting abilities.
  •  All candidates for roles in the Legal department must successfully complete a conflicts of interest clearance review prior to commencement of employment.
