J.P. Morgan Treasury Services Liquidity & Escrow Services provides advance solutions for clients to manage their global operating liquidity.  Our product set operates globally in real-time to supporting our most complex clients as they manage their liquidity across legal entities, geographies, currencies, and time-zones. 

Role Responsibilities:

This role is responsible for working across the Liquidity & Escrow Solutions team to optimize strategic positioning of our services, messaging around our medium term strategy and identifying our long-term 7-10 year strategy.   Some of the responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Working with product, technical, and client coverage teams to understand current and future client drivers for all customers in targeted client segments globally

  • Identify and understand how changes in markets, regulatory, tax, competitive landscape and client structures will impact our clients and product offering in the near and longer term.  

  • Understand emerging technologies such as big data, virtual account management, robotics, machine learning, API, etc. strategies and how they can be deployed to meet client needs.

  • Leveraging market intelligence and client feedback define future vision for product set in partnership with product management and product partners. 

  • Build an effective commercialization program offering encompassing current capabilities across TS business and selling the current and future vision both internally and externally.

  • Work across the Treasury Services and broader lines of business (Commercial Bank, Custody & Fund Services etc.) to drive a comprehensive and coordinated future strategy

Working with the global team, to build a multi-year plan to deliver new liquidity and escrow solutions, identify executable programs to solutions delivering both near-term (2018 - 2020) and medium to longer-term (>2020) double digit growth.

Background and Skill Requirements:
  • Master’s degree with a minimum of 15 years of professional experience; advanced degree(s), particularly a combination of finance/business management and STEM, is highly desired
  • Strategy and execution understanding/experience in emerging technologies around Fintech is highly desired
  • Strong consultative problem solving skills; management consulting experience is highly desired.  Proven track record of assimilating broad and changing fact patterns into well-grounded business proposition
  • Experience developing long-term vison for products/solutions
  • Disruptive thinker and innovator
  • Experience within banking regulatory environment key
  • S/he will be able to communicate concepts and ideas both verbally and via documentation, and be able to defend their validity
  • Excellent relationship-building skills and the ability to establish trust and credibility across JPMorgan
  • Ability to comfortably interact with business clients and management
  • Track record in business leadership
  • Inspirational passionate leader with direct execution ethos
  • International travel required
