As a Commercial Bank, International Coverage Executive, you will be responsible for driving Treasury, Credit, and Trade revenue to Canadian subsidiaries of our US Middle Market Commerical Banking client base. 

 

Commercial Banking International works with US Base companies and their international subsidiaries that generate $50 million – $1 billion in revenues. This role will focus on leveraging the US relationship emphasizing the North American value proposition to cross sell a Canada Banking solution.

 

The key function of the International Coverage Executive is to deliver impactful solutions across treasury services, lending, trade finance and foreign exchange while partnering with banking teams, treasury officers, and product partners (card & merchant solutions) to drive revenue growth. The goal of the role is to be viewed as a subject matter expert and as a consultative business partner for both our internal and external clients.

 
CANDIDATE PROFILE
 

The International Coverage Executive will have a deep technical understanding of the Canadian market and banking solutions with primary emphasis on treasury management services, ideally with direct experience working with sophisticated clients of parallel scale and scope. 

 

Candidates must also have demonstrated executive presence by developing and fostering successful relationships with internal partners while influencing, developing, and nurturing relationships with global clients at all levels of their enterprise.

 
RESPONSIBILITIES
 
  • Leverage partnerships with relationship managers and product partners to develop, advise and deliver custom Canada treasury, trade, and lending solutions for commercial MM clients
  • Execute marketing program via direct client calling, proposals, negotiating and closing transactions
  • Partner and influence Treasury Services and Commercial Banking teams to establish and drive business development strategies.
  • Represent JPMC's Canadian capabilities internally and external events throughout the US
  • Identify opportunities for new products and services
  • Refine business development and solutions delivery practices.
  • Provide input into product development, marketing, and other strategic initiatives.

a requirement, a compelling combination of the following is a must:

 
  • 10+ years of successful direct sales or relationship management - focused on successful development and delivery of complex Canadian Treasury Management solutions
  • Extensive knowledge of Canadian banking products, services, and markets (Treasury, lending, trade finance and foreign exchange)
  • Executive presence and consultative sales acumen demonstrating; ability to develop advisory relationships with clients, prospects and bankers
  • Proven track record of results-oriented performance; building and influencing strategic relationships capable of working with minimal supervision
  • Credit trained preferred, with experience financing operations and screening transactions with credit or other risk issues
  • MBA preferred - Written and spoken English fluency.  Additional languages a plus
