Foreign Multinational Corporates

 

Foreign Multinational Corporates (FMNC) is a national specialty within Commercial Banking covering the US subsidiaries of companies headquartered outside the US.  The sales range for the US subsidiaries we bank can range from $20 million to $2 billion, with an emphasis on the $50 million to $500 million range.  The FMNC team is seeking an experienced banker in Nashville or Atlanta to cover our subsidiaries headquartered in the Southeast. 

As a seasoned banker on the FMNC team, your primary role will be to originate and manage profitable relationships within the segment.  This is accomplished by focusing on the delivery of value added solutions to our clients and prospects that will help them reach their goals and maximize our revenues over the life of the relationship.  You, as the focal point of the client relationship, will also orchestrate the interfacing with clients by credit staff and product partners. 

 

As a banker covering foreign-owned corporates, you will be responsible for identifying and contacting qualified prospects, cultivating referral sources, maintaining an aggressive calling schedule (bankers should average 5+ in person calls and at least 10 contacts via phone, mail or e-mail to clients and prospects per week). You will also be responsible for leading the client relationship team, including product, credit and KYC partners, and for close coordination with overseas colleagues if there is a parent relationship.  You will seek opportunities to anticipate the future needs of the client and cross sell into every relationship.  A thorough understanding of both the US client and their global parent is a critical component of your job. 

 
     
    • Typically a minimum of five years direct banking experience preferred.
    • Completion of a formal corporate/commercial bank credit training program combined with a minimum several years direct lending experience preferred.
    • Candidate must be a top individual contributor.
    • Proficiency in building and maintaining positive client relationships with an established track record of success.
    • Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Strong creative solution and problem solving skills.
    • Leadership ability to mobilize internal networks and resources, with excellent internal communication practices.
    • Demonstrated experience in cross-selling products, and a track record of meeting or exceeding aggressive sales goals.
    • Ability to establish and build relationships with customers.
    • Ability to conduct high-level sales presentations.
    • Some international background or language ability not required, but preferred.
    • Experience in working with multinational companies not required, but preferred.
