Risk Reporting, Projects & Middle Office (RRPMO) partners with executive management across business lines to manage Market, Country, Principal, Wholesale Credit and Model risk.
 
The team is looking to hire a Tableau Dashboard Designer/ Business Analyst to join the Risk Project Services Team to drive change across the risk organization through improving operational efficiency and effectiveness, technology enhancements and organization structure to support executive decision making and regulatory mandates. The role is highly visible to senior management and offers the opportunity to work across all JPMorganChase’s business lines.
 
The Dashboard Designer will work across functional groups, risk areas and LOBs to support the Data Quality and Metrics reporting initiative by building and maintaining complex interactive data visualizations in Tableau for management reporting.   The successful candidate will be an entrepreneur thinker, team player, results driven and self-managing with strong attention to detail.
 
Primary Responsibilities include:
 
  • Supporting a consistent and formal process to capture and track control metrics across multiple functional groups, risk areas and LOBs. 
  • Work closely with key stakeholders to design and execute actionable data analyses, and build data visualizations that effectively communicate insights to assist with senior management decision making
  • Assisting the Business in the design and implementation of metric dashboards that are used in senior forums.
  • Defining and Coordinating user acceptance test plans and test cases.  Responsible for understanding results and providing sufficient information to senior management to enable signoff on a deliverable
  • Monitor usage and adoption of metric dashboards with user base.
Required capabilities:
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science / Engineering or in related field.
  • Must have 2+ years of experience with data analysis, data visualization, and reporting technologies including Tableau 8 and other reporting tools
  • Strong critical and creative thinking skills with ability to synthesize complex data sets to develop business insights, fact base analysis and hypotheses to help solve complex problems.
  • Ability to design, code and unit test complex Tableau dashboard/visualization workbook files
  • Tableau certified developer a plus.
  • Familiarity in SQL and database techniques
  • Data analysis – including the collection of data from various sources, synthesizing the information, performing analysis, interpreting results and making recommendations
  • Experience in data quality, control metrics and KPIs a plus
  • Ability to perform in a high pressure and fast paced environment
  • Highly disciplined, self-motivated, and delivery-focused individual who is able to work independently.
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills
