The AM Digital group is looking for a fully hands-on senior software engineer who can lead technology efforts and delivery. The person shall build new tools and capabilities for Financial Advisors utilizing the latest web technology stack and adhering to architectural principles. The person shall understand various investment products and offerings in Asset Management to build solutions that meets client's expectations. The person shall have ample opportunity to work on cutting edge technology, build cloud native applications and have an influence on the technology road map and execution.
Able to work with multiple teams and lead project efforts end-to-end
Able to operate individually with T-shaped skills
Fully hands-on with web technologies and building strong backend platforms using Java/Spring, databases and middleware platforms
Function as technical leader in the group who can bring in new ideas, suggest appropriate frameworks, set standards and practices
Prior experience building enterprise applications and supporting large user base
Prior experience in Agile software development, interfacing closely with business
Prior experience working in banking domain and some understanding of Investment products
Able to partner effectively with both business and technology teams and facilitate effective dialogue
Able to mentor junior developers and groom them based on observed skills and qualities
Must possess strong ownership qualities with a can-do attitude
Must possess leadership skills with ability to drive technical efforts and influence decision making
Must possess strong analytical thinking and problem solving ability
