Credit Reporting Agency Operations Analyst

As a Data Analyst working on CRA data delivery, you will work directly with data and information, compiled to be supplied to CRAs and serve to ensure data accuracy reviews are in place prior to data transmission as well as own the reconciliation and remediation of data determined by CRA to be invalid. Types of analysis and reporting will include but is not limited to:  illogical data review, quality review, workflow analysis, process improvement, and back office partner process mapping. Position will also develop test scripts based upon business requirements and processes, in line with defined workflows and use cases; process transactions from system entry to exit; test functionality delivered across applications and workflows; and test applications to demonstrate that relevant existing system functionality is as expected.

Responsibilities include: 

  • Implement and execute daily/monthly quality reviews to ensure processes are in compliance with business requirements and the FCRA (Fair Credit Reporting Act)
  • Review and suggest modification of established policies and procedures, maintain issues log and manage multiple projects based on monthly data integrity issues and business  back office processes 
  • Participate in business initiatives and assist with all levels of metric reporting 
  • Review and analyze business requirements and related functional specifications to lead and participate in the development of detailed User Acceptance (UAT) testing plans and Test Cases.
  • Lead daily activities related to test strategy, test plan, test scenarios, and test data development and test execution and validation
  • Report and track defects in HP Quality Center 10.2.
  • Maintain and report on daily Testing and Defect status to all Levels of management
  • Participate in Business requirement, Impact Matrix and functional reviews
  • Participate in Test plan reviews conducted by other blocks
  • Lead Test Plan and Test Scenario reviews
  • Participate in test results reviews for approval and sign off
  • Preferred experience with FCRA and Metro 2
  • Minimum 1 years of relevant quality assurance UAT testing work experience
  • Excellent Project Coordination and Project tracking skills
  • Experience in collaborating across multiple functional operational teams
  • Must demonstrate strong time management skills, ability to multi-task & handle multiple test assignments & prioritize one's own work
  • Must have excellent verbal and written skills being able to communicate effectively on both a technical and business level
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to analyze detailed business requirements, raise questions and seek resolution to outstanding clarifications required for test case identification
  • Excellent work ethic
  • Statistical analysis experience a plus
