Department Description:


Within Asset Management’s (AM) Planning and Analysis (P&A) function, the Balance Sheet & Capital Stress Testing team is responsible for producing AM’s capital stress test results, including CCAR, DFAST, ICAAP, Resolution, Recovery and Risk Appetite.  The team is also responsible for AM’s balance sheet & RWA reporting, planning & forecasting and for implementing capital policy within AM.  Additionally, the team has a role in multiyear planning exercises including Goodwill.


Roles and Responsibilities:  

  

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, enhancing and integrating financial models used by AM into all aspects of planning, reporting and analysis. The financial models are used for planning, forecasting and ad hoc analyses including multiyear financial plans, balance sheet, RWA, capital stress testing (CCAR/ICAAP/DFAST/Risk Appetite) and capital planning. The model output is used at the most senior levels in the organization, including the AM Operating Committee, so attention to detail, quality and timeliness of output is critical.  Analyzing and reporting the results of the financial models requires a candidate that is both well versed in the details and is capable of having a business perspective.  The successful candidate will have a good opportunity to develop an in-depth understanding of the Asset Management business and organization as well as develop a strong network across the AM and the firm.  Additionally, the candidate will gain knowledge of bank capital and the regulatory stress testing framework in which our businesses operate.

·           Experience with building financial models; excellent Excel skills

·           Good analytical skills and creative problem solving skills

·           Ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment with rapidly evolving deliverables

·           Thoroughness and attention to detail, high level of accuracy, and strong work ethic

·           Strong finance/accounting skills

·           Good communication skills both written and oral

·           Experience in treasury, capital planning or financial modeling is a plus.

·           Knowledge of Asset Management businesses is a plus
