Mail Clerk

Job Description

Global Business & Document Services (GBDS) is JPMorgan Chase's print and distribution department, operating across NAMR, EMEA, APAC and LATAM in more than 50 cities. We are responsible for managing vital employee services, including print & copy, messenger, courier, fulfillment, SmartPrint program, SmartTrack and High Value Media Group (HVMG) that provides end-to-end capabilities, allowing us to design, personalize, print, assemble and deliver products the same-day.


As a Mail Clerk you will:

Receive mail from various sources
Scan mail into our tracking system
Sort mail by internal mail code into mail bins
Operate mail metering equipment
Process daily shipment via UPS system.
Pickup and deliver mail throughout the building
Support the Service Center window

·         Able to stand for long periods of time.

·         Able to lift items weighing up to 50 pounds.  

·         Good communication skills.  Able to speak, read and write English.

·         Must have a good attendance record.

·         Some computer skills are required.

·         Must be a team player.

·         Good attention to detail skills

·         Good ability to produce quality work in a high volume productions environment.

·         High School Diploma or equivalent

·         Good verbal communication skills to interact with customers.

·         Able to prioritize tasks and work with minimal supervision.

·         Mail room experience sorting inter-office mail preferred.
