With $18 trillion of assets under custody and $393 billion in deposits, the Corporate & Investment Bank provides strategic advice, raises capital, manages risk and extends liquidity in markets around the world.  Market Risk Technology team is responsible for the technology platform and integration with JPM Morgan’s risk systems to provide JP Morgan’s risk managers with capability to assess impact of various market scenarios at a firm wide level. The team has a large book of work comprising of many strategic and tactical projects to enhance the system capabilities and continue with integration efforts with the firm’s risk systems along with the reduction of offline manual processes.  
Applications Support for the Asset Management Risk & Finance Technology team you will be responsible for delivering technology solutions using Oracle, Informatica, ETL Processes in support of the Asset Management Risk & Finance applications. The candidate will be required to work with business analysts, technical leads and the development team to understand business requirement, functional specification documents and to translate these specifications into technology data design, transformation and implementation. 
Job responsibilities:
  • Perform analysis and design work, including impact of requirements across all system components
  • Consider overall architecture when performing design work and data modeling work
  • Capture analysis/design output within high level/low level design documents 
  • Work closely with database, application/java, ETL and reporting developers during design process 
  • Provide support in tuning SQL statements, procedures, triggers
  • Help establish data design and modeling standards 
  • Required to perform database analysis, understand data content and associated data relationships 
  • Create unit test cases, perform unit testing, document test results and perform code reviews 
  • Work with technical lead, business analysts and QA team to analyze and correct defects within the SIT and UAT phases 
  • Work with operate team to support production deployments and analyze post-production defects
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure that all solutions are aligned to coding standards
Primary Skills Required:
  • Strong communication & logical skills
  • Strong experience within Agile process
  • Minimum 6+ Years’ experience Oracle 11g
  • Minimum 3+ Years’ experience in Informatica ETL tool
  • Strong SQL performance tuning / optimization
  • Unix Shell scripting
  • Versioning tools such as SVN etc
Nice to have:
  • Previous Credit/Market Risk experience
  • Previous experience working with onshore teams
  • Experience with Greenplum database
  • Experience with Big Data technologies such as Hadoop etc.
  • Exposure to reporting tools preferably Tableau
