  • Provides management and oversight of the Operations of JPM Vietnam including TS Cash, IB, Trade.
  • Responsible for the direction and training of staff in order to build and maintain a quality team of motivated, capable professionals performing to their full potential.
  • Responsible for development and conducting performance reviews.
  • Allocates and coordinates resources and handles personnel related issues within the parameters of the firm's policy.
  • Exhibits a full knowledge and thorough understanding of the entire operations functions.
  • To initiate and implement productivity measures with the ultimate goal of reducing costs and maintaining service excellence.
  • To provide assistance and support to the Customer Service on customer needs relating to collections products and services.
  • Workflow and risks management
  • Planning and expenses control.
  • To annually update SOPs.
  • To direct and control the day-to-day operations of the Department:
    • Assist management in the implementation of policies and procedures and provide feedback on resource requirements and allocation
    • Authorize payment transactions (especially to highly pay attention to sensitive customers such as HP, Chevron, Goodyear, Dupon,  etc)
    • Authorize transactions inputted by processors in MTS & LVB
    • Verify transactions via MSP and IBPS
    • Advise staff on different alternatives to resolve complex problems
    • Support business development
    • Support CS in any customer's special request or complaint
    • Examine and investigate any exceptional or unusual cases noted by processor/supervisor and give an appropriate solution
    • Ensure EOD procedure is implemented.
  • To ensure risk & control through out the department
    • Ensure no long outstanding mismatch items under department.
    • Review & update RAMP, CSA.
    • To regularly and annually review, update and revise SOPs and necessary approval when there is any change
    • Update the transactional supporting document matrix when there is any change
    • To monthly review of outstanding items on shortage, overage and P&L adjustmen
    • To quarterly perform BCP test
  • To prepare & ensure the timely and accurate submission of all required reports to management and SBV.
  • Support iBilling team, Liquidity team, Client implementation, system testing/implementation, Business Continuity Plan coordination and other operations support functions.
  • To suggest and refine operational procedures in order to lower processing costs.
  • To regularly review the unit's capacity plan.
  • To provide timely feedback to Product, Sales and Relationship Management teams to allow them to closely monitor their accounts that may impact the Cash business
  • Requirement of this role: Experienced in multiple disciplines/functions of Operations such as: Trade Finance, Treasury Back office, Fund Transfer.
  • Specific technical skills: Multi-tasking, Issue resolution, Organizational skills, Time management, Analytical skills, Leadership, Conflict management, Oral & written communication in English.
  • Advance: Regulatory requirements, Local market knowledge, Product knowledge, Industry knowledge, Strategic planning, Budget management.
  • Experience: at least 5 years banking experience in Operations functions.
  • Education: Bachelor degree or above.
