CIO Business Manager

Job Description

Treasury and Chief Investment Office's mandate is to manage the  firm's liquidity, funding, structural interest rate and foreign exchange risks and conservatively invest the firm's excess liquidity. The Senior Business Manager will be a key member in the Global Business Management team.  Responsibilities will include:
  • Drive assessment and implementation of new investment opportunities for North America CIO (NIBA process)
  • Develop and drive global implementation of  initiatives to streamline and simplify portfolio management processes
  • Develop and drive initiatives to automate processes established to meet regulatory deliverables
  • Global lead for Volcker and Regulation W across Treasury and CIO
  • Bachelor’s degree and at least 10 years experience in a relevant industry
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
  • Excellent analytical skills including ability to interpret, review reasonableness and present information and analysis to meaningfully frame business issues
  • Strong communication skills in leading meetings with ability to influence multiple divergent stakeholders to gain closure on issues;
  • Experience in executive summary presentation/communication skills
  • Strong knowledge of the financial industry, including a comprehensive understanding of the current regulatory and compliance landscape
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills
  • A problem solver with proven ability to evaluate end to end processes, controls and issues to determine the inherent risks
  • Ability to maintain high ethical standards with a drive to achieve the right answer in difficult and/or ever changing situations
  • A self starter, with a drive for improvement and efficiency, thinks out of the box and is creative
  • Works well individually and in a global team, shares information, supports colleagues and encourages collaboration
  • Energetic, self motivated and effective under pressure - must enjoy the challenge of working within a fast-paced and demanding working environment
