As a Business Process Management Coordinator in the Sacramento Commercial Banking office, you will be responsible for processing daily check deposits, which can include some moderately complex tasks.  These transactions require judgment and experience with limited direct supervision.  This is accomplished in a production environment focused around meeting deadlines and productivity targets.   Our strategic focus is to deliver an extraordinary level of service and quality to our customer while leveraging the firm's operations and technology infrastructure. 
You will engage in multiple process areas including:  Extraction, Document Preparation, Image Capture, Balancing, Data Keying, and Output.  Each function may have multiple tasks per transaction.  A key part of this position is to ensure end-to-end control of the deposit process, which includes maintaining an activity log and performing deposit reconciliations at multiple key points in the process.  You will be responsible for ensuring that all customer and bank guidelines are followed as they relate to operations, internal audit and security, and general practices. 
 
In addition to the above noted primary responsibilities, day to day duties may also include management of certain other projects and daily interaction with various internal clients across the MMBSI lines of business.  You will need to adapt to procedures, processes and techniques to complete assignments in line with the department's activities and goals. 
 
The duties and administrative functions of this role will require confidentiality, initiative, sound decision-making, independent judgment and the ability to escalate serious or unique problems to higher levels.   
 
Tasks include:
  • Verify courier log completion and courier mail, and reconcile inventory to a manifest
  • Verify negotiability of checks
  • Associate checks with the correct deposit account and process deposits
  • Operate desktop equipment, including utilizing deposit processing system and imaging equipment
  • Maintain activity logs throughout the deposit process, and reconcile deposit activity at multiple points in the process
  • Meet productivity and quality standards
  • Effectively interact with all diverse groups within the organization
  • Provide administrative and project support to the team as needed
  • Support general office needs such as ordering supplies, mail distribution, and floor maintenance as needed
Requirements:
  • Ability to work 8:00 am - 12:00 pm, Monday - Friday
  • Intermediate computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft applications
  • Intermediate Qwerty keyboard usage and 10-key data entry
  • Quality-oriented with excellent attention to detail
  • Alpha numeric data entry skills
  • Be flexible, willing to learn and be utilized in all areas
  • Open minded with a positive attitude
  • Effective organizational and communication skills
  • Able to follow outlined processes and procedures
