Senior Cybersecurity Policy Lead

Our core services are focused on assuring the security of the computing environment, protect customer and employee confidential information, and comply with regulatory requirements globally. This is accomplished through strong information risk governance, active collaboration with business risk managers, and providing high quality security solutions and services which enable improving the organization's overall risk posture.
 
Primary Duties and Responsibilities 
  • The Senior Cyber Security Policy Lead will be tasked to support the Global Cyber team as well as firm’s Regulatory Affairs, Government Relations, Legal, Privacy, and other stakeholders
  • Track emergence of government, regulatory and industry-led cyber policy developments and trends relevant to firm
  • Evaluate cyber policy and regulatory developments, both domestic and international
  • Assess cyber policy gaps affecting the firm
  • Analyze potential impacts of new policy developments, formulate cyber policy positions for the firm, provide updates/recommendations to leadership, and engage government and industry partners
  • Develop executive products on project status, policy positions, policy impacts and recommended strategy/actions
Qualifications
 
Bachelor’s degree and at least 5-7+ years combined planning/policy experience including a strong understanding of federal government organizations involved in cybersecurity and policy.
  • Demonstrated experience in critical and strategic thinking.
  • Excellent written, interpersonal, planning, and organizational skills
  • Experience in building professional presentations and products using standard office software applications
  • Strong collaboration, negotiation and mediation skills among internal and external stakeholders
  • Must possess a high degree of initiative, motivation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven analytical, planning, problem solving, and decision-making skills
  • Exposure to cyber policy, organization and technology is strongly desired but not mandatory
  • Collaborative, engaging, helpful and a strong team player
  • Able to work under pressure, deliver against deadlines with a high degree of precision
  • Able to multitask, to main progress on multiple, significant work streams concurrently
