The Business Card Sales Specialist will support profitable acquisitions growth of Business Card programs by calling on Chase Business Banking Market Managers, Area Managers, Relationship Bankers, and Field Support Managers and Trainers to drive awareness of business card programs. The PSS will support an assigned territory by participating in Leadership Meetings, Workshops, Conference Calls & visiting Branch locations to ensure the Business Card program achieves the growth objectives through coaching, servicing and program execution.
·Cultivate relationships with Business Banking key stakeholders to enhance awareness, support and promotion of the Business Card program.
·Implement Sales Management approach, diagnosing low performance, and partner with key stakeholders to coordinate program strategy on executing field marketing and card promotion
·Disseminate key requirements and best practices for presenting and selling/integrating business card into solution selling process to customers.
·Ensure Area Managers, Field Support Manager, Relationship Bankers and Trainers are provided with the tools and information needed to build card program awareness among customers, and seek incremental distribution and promotion opportunities
·Consult with key stakeholders cross-sell tactics, competitive landscape, marketing collateral and customer issue resolution
·Monitor performance metrics to evaluate key stakeholder effectiveness relative to business card targets and recommend strategies/tactics to improve performance and efficiency
·Increase awareness with key stakeholder's the business card goals, performance tracking and incentive achievement
Education and Experience:
·Bachelors Degree or relevant work equivalent.
·Minimum of 3-5 years experience in a sales, territory management and training environment - Relevant Banking experience strongly preferred.
·Experience in banking and/or credit card experience.
·Experience and success with interacting with high level organizational contacts.
Job Characteristics and Requirements:
·Ability to develop territory management plans including pre-call planning, route optimization, post-call follow-up to ensure maximum effectiveness
·Working knowledge of CRM tool to track sales force key contacts, follow-ups etc.
·Demonstrated selling skills in past roles including "Selling and Influencing" and "Building Trust and Rapport"
·Ability to operate independently and manage time efficiently/effectively via a home office environment
·Presentation/sales ability, retail experience, and/or banking experience preferred
·Ability to inspire, motivate and engage the commitment of others
·Strong influencing, negotiation and problem solving skills
·Sense of urgency for goal achievement - Strong commitment to driving sales results
·Demonstrated sales/communications skills (verbal and written)
·Strong presentation skills a must
