Role: JPMorgan Global Wealth Management Technology is looking for an experienced Application Developer to develop tools to address automation for the new business acceptance process for the Trust and Estates practice. The developer will be accountable for the development of quality and resilient software using continuous integration and testing methodologies. This will involve working closely with business analysts to understand operating models , business flows and data and then partner with the relevant application development teams and DBA / infrastructure and Operate as required to develop and test the application(s). The role will report into the Technical Lead for the US GWM Fiduciary agenda.


Primary responsibilities:

• Software Development using iterative / agile methodologies.

•Partnering with the Trust and Estates business analysts and existing Application Development teams to understand functional and data requirements for multiple business processes.

•Perform trouble-shooting for any issues that may arise in any of the environments.

•Support production rollouts of the functionality on-site by partnering closely with the Infrastructure and Operate team.

Soft skills/attributes required for this role:


  • Must be detail oriented , needs to be able to investigate and solve for the details independently by partnering with relevant technology or business colleagues
  • Experience working closely with AD architects and Design Authorities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to organize/manage multiple priorities and projects coupled with the flexibility to adapt to changes in a fast-paced environment

 

Hard Skills / Requirements:


•4+ years’ experience with application development and design

•Expert level knowledge of Core Java & Web Application development using Spring, HTML5, AngularJS, Restful Services, Maven, Tomcat, Apache on an Unix preferred.

•Bachelor's degree in a technical or analytical field with preferred focus on Computer Science or Information Systems.
