Corporate Technology & Risk (CTR) delivers streamlined and consistent solutions supporting JPMorgan Chase’s Controls, Compliance, Legal, HR and IT Risk agendas, with a focus on stability, delivery, efficiencies and people. The disciplines within this organization are Compliance Technology, Oversight & Controls Technology, Legal & e-Discovery, Identity & Access Management, IT Risk & Controls, HR Real Estate & Global Services Technology, and Third Party Risk Management.

 

The Global Identity and Access Management (GIAM) organization within CTR provides access control governance and Identity Services for all lines of business (LoBs) globally, providing the right access to the right people at the right time for all technology platforms and applications supported by CTR, and provides a comprehensive set of applications, tools, and staff to globally implement, monitor and manage technology risk solutions.

 

We are seeking an ETL Solutions Developer with strong analytical skills, has a passion for data, always looking to make improvements and push the status quo, strong communication skills, and can translate functional requirements to a team of developers.


Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Analyze, design, develop, implement and support ETL solutions using Pentaho and other ETL tools
  • Work with various infrastructure and application teams to model data and transform into data warehouse.
  • Work on projects, enhancements and production support issues
  • Timely delivery of ETL solutions in a fast-paced business environment
  • Communicate status and technical considerations for project and non-project work to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Make recommendations for continuous improvement of data environment
  • Identify, assess and document business requirements
  • Document detailed functional specifications and related solution design components based on business requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Electrical Engineering or equivalent. 
  • Experience with ETL tools such as Pentaho, Informatica, Ab Initio
  • Strong Unix/Linux and Autosys or auto scheduler experience 
  • Perl or any scripting language experience 
  • Familiarity with data migrations and data loads across platforms such as Sybase, Oracle and SQLServer
  • Knowledge of SQL programming 
  • 10+ years of Core Java and J2EE experience
  • Must have working knowledge of commonly used design patterns
  • Strong rest/web services and messaging experience
  • Excellent Communication Skills (both written and oral)
  • Plan, design, test, debug and deploy software solutions for managing infrastructure, project management, capacity planning, and operational efficiencies
  • Leverage large amounts of machine, performance, application and inventory data to create a unique representation
  • Analyze infrastructure problems/constraints, inefficiencies, process gaps, risk and regulatory issues and engineer software or automation solutions
  • Work in partnership with infrastructure engineers and architects to understand and identify operational improvements
  • Automate complex functions to improve the delivery of information
  • Partner with a global infrastructure division to innovate solutions
