The Global Institutional Management Digital Marketing Technology team is responsible for creating and supporting marketing tools to support clients across various technology channels (web, mobile, email, etc).   

We are looking for an IOS/Android developer responsible for the development and maintenance of applications that showcase the Thought Leadership of J.P. Morgan Asset Management across multiple countries and languages.  Your primary focus will be the development of IOS and/or Android applications and their integration with back-end services. The successful candidate will collaborate and coordinate within the team and across teams that are also creating similar feature sets in other mobile platforms. The process requires iterative development, the drive to learn new technologies and apply knowledge of emerging technologies into demonstrable prototypes.


  • Translate designs and wireframes into high quality code
  • Development, delivery, and maintenance of mobile applications across multiple devices.
  • Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application
  • Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs
  • Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization
  • Prototype creative solutions quickly, and be able to collaborate with others in crafting and implementing your technical vision.
  • Improving code quality by staying on top of new technologies and development approaches.
  • Ensure the IOS and Android applications are safe and secure, in compliance with corporate risk and security standards.
  • Identify opportunities for process and tool improvements and drive those from concept to implementation.



  • 3+ years of experience in the IT industry.
  • Strong written and verbal skills.
  • Knowledgeable about mobile technology.
  • Experience with JSON services.
  • 3 + years developing with C, C++ or Objective C OR experience developing Android/Java applications.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services
  • Strong knowledge of IOS/Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices
  • Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
  • Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
  • Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications
  • Understanding of Google’s Android design principles and interface guidelines
  • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
  • Familiarity with continuous integration
  • The ideal candidate will be strong in one of the following disciplines with familiarity in the other two. 
    • Android: Familiarity with the Android SDK as well Experience in some other popular frameworks, Android or Java.
    • iOS: Experience developing and deploying iOS and software applications.
    • Web: Experience with Web development (e.g. AngularJS, NodeJS, HTML5, AJAX, JavaScript, Spring)
  • Experience developing and deploying mobile applications.
  • Experience with unit and functional testing.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodology is a plus.


  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent with relevant experience.
