A key member of the J.P. Morgan Private Bank team of specialists, the Investor partners closely with the Banker to win new high net worth or ultra high net worth client relationships by presenting J.P. Morgan Private Bank’s investment solutions and advising on implementation. The Investor is also responsible for deepening and strengthening existing relationships by continuing to present innovative investment solutions and advising on portfolio and market performance.
Conduct investment reviews with high net worth or ultra high net worth clients to validate the clients' current investment objectives and prepare recommendations of appropriate investment products
Develop investment policy statements, advise on asset allocation and manage clients’ investment portfolio
Maintain current knowledge of all J.P. Morgan Private Bank investment products and strategies
Initiate and close sales of complex investment products
Focus on qualified purchaser clients and act as primary resource for investment communication
Build and maintain excellent working relationships with internal clients and teammates
Adhere to internal and external policies and procedures regarding securities transactions and code of conduct
Responsible for deepening and strengthening client relationships with J.P. Morgan Private Bank
Participate in coordination of sales and relationship management effort with Bankers, Capital Advisors,and Wealth Advisors
Extensive experience with and in-depth knowledge of fixed income, structured notes, equities and alternatives
Experience managing discretionary and brokerage relationships
Conduct operations within FINRA and other regulatory agency guidelines and requirements
Ability to communicate sophisticated investment strategy to all levels of clients and prospects
Sales experience including: profiling, overcoming objections, negotiation, team selling approach, closing the sale and asking for referrals
Demonstrated understanding of wealth management including, but not limited to: credit, deposits, trusts and financial planning
Ability to work in a team based environment and assist in the development and retention of junior team members
Seven plus years experience in Private Banking or Financial Services industry
Bachelors degree required; MBA or CFA preferred
Prior experience providing complex investment solutions to high net worth and/or ultra high net worth individuals and/or families
Series 7 & 63 licenses required for position; however, unlicensed candidates considered but required to obtain licenses within 90 days of start date
