Corporate Finance is made up of several groups including Corporate Controllers, Corporate M&A, Resolution and Recovery, Investor Relations (IR), Corporate Tax, Corporate Finance Analytics, the Global Finance Program Management Office (PMO), and the Regulatory Capital Management Office (RCMO).  The Investor Relations department is responsible for providing clear and concise information to the institutional investor community to assist them in making investment decisions about JPMorgan Chase.  The IR team arranges and facilitates events including senior management meetings and the Firm's Annual Investor Day.  Additionally IR partners with the Finance organization and line of business teams, to prepare key external disclosures for the Firm.

 

Job Summary:

As an Executive Administrative Assistant, you will perform diverse secretarial duties and administrative functions requiring confidentiality, initiative and sound decision-making for the Head of Investor Relations, who is a direct report of the CFO of JPMorgan Chase.  You will also perform calendar duties for select senior team members, and support their T&E processing.  You will rely on excellent organizational skills and the ability to effectively handle multiple priorities.  Role requires someone who is a committed team player, proactive, helpful, and who can anticipate and solve problems and can communicate well with all levels of staff.  Responsibilities include but are not limited to phone support, calendar management including organizing meetings and events with cross function, cross region participants, coordinating domestic and international travel arrangements, preparing expense reports, filing, managing technology needs (EURC), and ordering supplies.  Additionally, you will exercise independent judgment, escalating serious or unique problems to higher levels.

 

Skills Required:

 

  • Professional with at least 10 years of experience in administrative or related functions and experience working for senior management
  • Strong PC skills (proficient knowledge of MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Knowledge of general office procedures (e.g., filing, correspondence, scheduling)
  • Full competency in advanced calendar management, able to apply good judgment and has a strong understanding of/ability to manage competing priorities
  • Ability to proactively anticipate next steps and follow up effectively without prompting
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with a sense of urgency to deliver high quality results
  • Ability to adapt procedures, processes and techniques to the completion of assignments
  • Effective interpersonal skills and excellent telephone etiquette
  • Advanced ability to organize and multitask
  • Superior oral and written communication skills to prepare internal / external correspondence on behalf of others
  • Tact and good judgment in confidential situations and proven experience interacting with senior management
