The Data Compliance manager will ensure the data management & application portfolio across the Risk, Finance and Treasury programs is in alignment with the firm compliance policies, including those related to Personally Identifiable Information, data privacy, information security, third party oversight and ATC (Air Traffic Control).
 
Working with the application development leads, the Data Compliance Lead will be responsible to drive the required compliance processes for all locales in alignment with the program roadmap. The position will report to RFT Data Governance Program Manager, and work with partners in LOB, Compliance, and Information Security.
 
Key Responsibilities shall include:
 
  • Drive the data management practices and procedures through the SDLC for the Risk, Finance and Treasury program to ensure alignment with firm compliance policies including:
     
    • PII
    • Information security
    • TPO
    • ATC
       
  • Work with global, regional, and in-country compliance and information security organizations to execute due diligence, data and user on-boarding approval processes.
  • Create roadmap and requirements for management, storage, reporting and distribution of sensitive data for the program
  • Build a framework to track the  compliance approval for the  matrix of data supplier and data consumer organizations as applicable
  • Ensure execution of data compliance activities is aligned to program delivery roadmap;  Tie compliance deliverables to the objectives and project plans for each ADM.
  • Communicate progress against compliance deliverables to key stakeholders with timely escalation of risk/issues.
  • Drive decisions and consensus with technology, compliance, and information security partners in alignment with program objectives and compliance policy.
  • Establish framework working with UAT Leads & Technical Managers to ensure test data strategy and access entitlements are in alignment with data compliance policy .
  • Maintain documentation and Interface with audit for data compliance  matters.
 
Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree or related relevant work experience 
  • 7-10 years of Information Technology experience 
  • Role requires Corporate, Investment Banking and / or Retail banking, Metadata process & technology as well as a background data management and data quality. 
  • Strong oral and written communications skills
  • Technical depth and ability to rapidly understand and communicate the impact of solutions and technology.
  • Deliver Data Management, Business Analysis and Project Management skills to a focused, technical team.
Core Skills
  • Strong project management understanding & approach.
  • Project planning, chairing working groups, preparing meeting minutes and following up on open actions.
  • Overall Program tracking inclusive of approval tracking and management reporting.  
  • Understanding of end to end business process; Ability to communicate business strategy & target operating model.
  • Good working knowledge of applications and environments relevant to the Firm's range of business.
