Job Summary
Reporting to the Cybersecurity Education Director, the Cybersecurity Program Coordinator oversees employees’ progression through required training programs. The Cybersecurity Program Coordinator may enroll staff in training programs, track their progress, communicates status and ensure a smooth learning experience. The Cybersecurity Program Coordinator works with the learning management system, SharePoint sites and other systems to accomplish day-to-day tasks including registering employees for training, pulling reports and troubleshooting employee issues with online training courses.  Responsibilities may also include projecting future training needs, trend analysis, coaching employees and program evaluation.  The Cybersecurity Program Coordinator supports multiple lines of business, projects and/or initiatives.
 
Primary Duties and Responsibilities 
  • Analyzes training requirements to forecast training class requirements and determine learner eligibility to attend training events
  • Performs functions to support class delivery in the learning management system
  • System administrator for cyber training request process and vendor provider approval systems
  • Enrolls learners in classes, tracks attendance and performs related due diligence and follow up
  • Creates training assignments/learning paths/training plans in the learning management system
  • Facilitates new hires/transfers/existing employees through a   • Monitors the completion of online training, produces  completion reports, contacts learners who are past due or are approaching a training deadline, and handles manager escallations when learner falls behind
  • Works with learners in areas of training status, learner questions in regard to completions and logistics and licensing status when required
  • Responsible for sending  training communications, preparing training reports and managing the team mailboxes
  • Updates learner assignments and training records
  • Troubleshoots and resolves online course technology issues
  • Works  with conference center employees, audio/visual team, IT, meeting planners and other logistical partners to ensure a successful training event
  • Schedules class speakers and collects speaker presentations
  • Facilitates orientation calls and trains mentors
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in HR, Instructional Design, Organizational Development, business or similar educational experience (preferred)
  • 3-5 years experience analyzing business needs, designing, developing and evaluating training (strongly preferred)
  • 5+ years experience leading large, complex projects (strongly preferred)
  • Able to synthesize and distill large amounts of information into key messages
  • Accurately identifies and analyzes data and problems
  • Demonstrates urgency and timeliness when dealing with critical issues or people
  • Treats change and new situations as opportunities for learning or growth
  • Demonstrates the ability to identify and evaluate problems or issues
  • Accepts responsibility for and owns decisions and actions
  • Maintains composure during pressured/stressful situations
  • Contributes actively in team activities, sharing experience and ideas
  • Builds strong partnerships by genuinely seeking out others’ opinions and ideas
  • Communicates appropriately with people at various levels and backgrounds
  • Experienced  MS Officeuser with strong Excel skills, Outlook and Sharepoint
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (preferred)
