Position Summary:

The Internet Channel Manager is responsible for defining and executing on business strategies for production  originated via the digital channel.   This role may have direct reports depending on business need


The following activities are assigned to this position:

Develop and implement strategies for profitable production initiatives

Execute strategies cross functionally through partnerships with Pricing, Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Servicing

Manage integration of related changes, through effectively communication with Sales and Operations

Direct existing programs focused production management   

Understanding competitive offerings

Ensure reporting and metrics are utilized to demonstrate program results

Ensure strict adherence to Controls in execution

Recruit and Manage Segment Support Managers and/or Segment Support Analysts

Coach performance and lead employee career progression 


This position requires a high level of strategy and analysis to translate initiatives in to action plans. 


This position is for Chase Home Equity and will be focused on digital originations strategy and execution.  The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of all aspects of digital tactics, and have experience driving production goals centered around internet originations.


Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Oversee Marketing programs, lead routing strategy, pricing, sales execution, forecasting, and overall performance

Devise and manage the implementation of new processes / streamline programs to support production programs

Develop new business opportunities, which may include research, development of program specifications, and management of program implementation cross functionally within Mortgage, Home Equity, and across LOBs. 

Develop customer performance / feedback processes for program evaluation via analytics and through constant interaction with customers using focus groups and surveys

Participate in requests for strategic opportunities and provide analysis of strategic decisions

Act as point of contact for all internal partners and assist with information coordination

Direct existing programs focused production management   

Knowledge and Experience:

Bachelors in Business or Finance and at least ten years combined Mortgage or Home Equity experience in originations, retention, and/or operations.  Practical working knowledge of financial impacts and governance for tactics and programs. Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills (verbal and written) needed to work cross-functionally


Core Competencies:

Expert mortgage banking knowledge to effectively lead initiatives. Ability to translate business needs / strategy to process flow depiction.  The position depends on a high-level of independent decision-making around simplification of processes, presentation building, written and verbal communication across varying levels of partners.


Unique Requirements:

Organization and attention to detail is crucial for this role

Strong understanding of the end-to-end origination process

Ability to manage the priorities of numerous urgent business requests
