Global Supplier Services (GSS) brings together Sourcing, Third Party Oversight, Procurement Operations, and Accounts Payable into one team.  This group of more than 700 employees manages the source to pay processes for JPMorgan Chase and provides a governance model which includes strong risk management practices, enhanced performance monitoring, greater scale and strong client engagement.

As a Quality Leader, your role is to set the strategic direction and execution of Six Sigma within Global Supplier Services. In addition, you will ensure that the Project Portfolio delivers financial results, which contribute to the achievement of business goals.

This role will:
  • Lead and drive the development of a sustainable mindset around productivity and quality across the organization
  • Guide and educate individual business leaders in understanding and using Six Sigma methods
  • Identify new areas to apply Six Sigma methodologies
  • Influence business strategy by considering Six Sigma value propositions
  • Oversee the product portfolio
  • Ensure that there is a positive ROI across the portfolio; Address and identify issues, which could be detrimental to the ROI; Identify and manage opportunities for an increased ROI
  • Partner with business senior leadership to select and prioritize Six Sigma projects; drive and track these projects to successful completion
  • Serve as a process change agent who works with senior leadership to execute Six Sigma productivity strategies
  • Lead and drive development of a sustainable quality improvement mindset throughout the organization. This includes supporting the design, development, and execution of required training and communications programs
  • Provide the business with expertise in re-engineering tools, metrics, and analysis in order to impact the bottom line and gain a better understanding of business results
  • Provide leadership to Six Sigma professionals, building their capabilities around competencies and skills required for exemplary performance
  • Encourage and promote professional development through coaching, mobility, etc.
The knowledge and skills needed for this position are:
  • Minimally 7-12 years of relevant business experience in Six Sigma/Quality Leadership, re-engineering processes, project management, and financial services (JP Morgan Chase background preferred)
  • Proven track record of setting strategic direction, influencing/consulting with senior leadership, and improved bottom line results
  • Black Belt certification
  • Hands-on re-engineering experience leading and coaching quality improvement projects
  • Strong strategic, analytical/problem solving skills
  • Lead multiple quality improvement projects and teams through the DMAIIC process by using Six Sigma techniques
  • Able to teach and transfer skills to team leaders, team members, coaches, general audiences and other quality staff within particular line of business
  • Can coach Business Leader, Champions and Sponsors on the ideal strategy to promote productivity and quality within and across functions
  • Bachelors degree minimum
  • Strong leadership presence
  • Good working knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, MS Project, and Word
