Global Technology Infrastructure Service Delivery (GTI) is the technology infrastructure organization for JPMorgan Chase, partnering with all lines of business to deliver a wide range of high-quality products and services. Subgroups within GTI

Global Services Operations (GSO) - is responsible for service support and delivery for JPMorgan Chase's Global Technology Infrastructure (GTI). Through its Global Service Desk and Infrastructure Operations Centers, GSO provides global, coordinated diagnostic and support services, while Production Assurance and Support functions leverage and execute industry-leading infrastructure management and support processes that are designed to minimize customer outages and impacts.


Within GSO, the Critical Infrastructure Operations team was formed to provide high level / dedicated 24*7 Level 2 support via  a follow the sun model for Keon, LDAP, Wintel/Unix System Administration,and DNS.  This dedicated team will provide the highest degree of service for these services and Active Directory – driving service improvement and ensuring the highest availability. 

Education:
  • BS degree in Computer Science/Engineering or other directly related technical field
Preferred Experience:
  • 5-7 years of software development lifecycle experience
  • 7+ years of practical quality assurance experience (EX: designing and executing test strategies and test plans).
  • Automation Testing experience highly preferred
  • Software Development (Waterfall, Agile) or Project Management methodologies .
Proficient in the following:
  • SQA Analysis- Ability to read and comprehend business requirements and high level design deliverables well enough to create detailed test cases.  Ability to map test cases to business requirements.  Basic understanding of development lifecycle and quality assurance phases
  • MS Office tools
  • Proven written and verbal communication skills.
  • Thorough knowledge of software design paradigms and techniques.
  • Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Solid understanding of relational database concepts and proficiency with SQL
  • Experience with black box and white box testing techniques and methodologies
  • Experience with functional, regression, performance, and stability testing
  • Ability to effectively multi-task different testing assignments and projects.
  • Ability to produce test results in a manner that is clear and concise to management and customers.
  • Ability to work with a variety of technologies and third-party products.
  • Solid knowledge of defect tracking tools.
  • Strong knowledge in Testing Automation
Advanced in:
  • Application Lifecycle Management(ALM)
  • HP Unified Functional Testing(UFT)
  • Basic understanding including navigation between functional areas within the tool. 
  • Ability to input or load and execute test cases and document actual results within the tool. 
  • Ability to pull data from Testing tool for reporting;
Soft Skills:
  • Have an open attitude towards sharing ideas and knowledge.
  • Proactive approach to problem solving, taking ownership of issues and having the determination to follow things through.
  • Excellent listening, written and verbal communication skills, including facilitation, presentation and production of documentation appropriate to an audience.
  • The ability to shift perspective from high level 'Big Picture' to low-level detail.
  • Strong prioritization, time management, and organizational skills
  • The ability to present and absorb complex ideas quickly and accurately.
  • The ability to meet tight deadlines.
