Consumer & Community Banking (CCB) provides technology support for applications across all lines of business. These applications are critical to ensuring an outstanding customer experience.

 

 

The CCB Cyber Operations Organization objectives are to ensure that JPMC is able to effectively detect, prevent, and respond to cyber threats against our technology infrastructure. The scope of Cyber Operations comprises detection and monitoring of threats and vulnerabilities, and managing security incidents. We accomplish this through strong information security leadership and active collaboration with Corporate Cyber teams and CCB Technology Control Officers to provide high quality security services that are focused on improving the CCB's risk posture.


Responsibilities:


  • Specific focus on Data Protection, Data Loss Prevention,& Privacy
  • Consults with the client on their technology risk and control environment and industry IT Risk best practices
  • Consults with clients to interpret JPMC risk policies and procedures to protect the Firm's information
  • Partners with IT Audit colleagues to address risk issues within the organization
  • Articulates the business value and impact of advanced technical and non-technical information, and recommends automated and cost effective solutions using that information
  • Understands the business and solicits input from internal and external sources
  • Ability to affect change within sphere of influence and leads development of innovative improvements
  • Will lead small-to medium-scale projects and deliver presentations with minimal supervision
  • Dissects complex situations and refocuses on critical technology tasks


This position is anticipated to require the use of one or more High Security Access (HSA) systems. Users of these systems are subject to enhanced screening which includes both criminal and credit background checks, and/or other enhanced screening at the time of accepting the position and on an annual basis thereafter. The enhanced screening will need to be successfully completed prior to commencing employment or assignment.

  • 5+  years of professional Information Technology and /or Cyber Security experience in a large corporation.
  • Experience within the Vulnerability Management/Risk Management arena.
  • Good understanding of technology concepts across Windows, UNIX, Database (Oracle, MS SQL, Sybase) and Web.
  • Good understanding of security / vulnerability scanning tools (eg. Qualys, Symantec ESM).
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Excellent relationship/partnering skills with other enabling teams (i.e. other firm wide technical teams).
  • Strong project management/organizational skills.
  • Strong ability to drive change in an organization.
  • Able to take the initiative, work under pressure to deadlines, able to juggle multiple priorities.
  • Good understanding of technology concepts.
  • Familiarity with good security practices and implementation of these concepts across complex environments.
  • Ability to assimilate technical data, work with large datasets and translate into layman terms.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and juggle multiple priorities.
  • Ability to craft presentations and updates for senior management.
  • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy when undertaking data analysis.
  • Strong execution/delivery track record.
  • Self-motivated and operates with a high sense of urgency and a high level of integrity.
  • Able to understand and breakdown complex problems.
  • Ability to work in a persuasive manner with diverse personnel at all levels of the organization
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
