Global Supplier Services (GSS), which consists of Sourcing, Third Party Oversight, Procurement Operations and Accounts Payable, manages the source to pay processes for JPMorgan Chase (JPMC) and provides a governance model which includes strong risk management practices, enhanced performance monitoring, greater scale and strong client management.  Its mission is to efficiently and collaboratively deliver to JPMC from external suppliers in a manner that mitigates risk, enhances performance and manages expense by driving the end to end source to pay lifecycle.

 

The GSS Business Intelligence, Reporting & Analytics team will work as part of a global team in the collection of data and the production of reports as needed to support GSS initiatives and meet all reporting requirements, including those that meet regulatory requirements as well as control committees and other senior management requests.

 

Objectives:

In this role, the Regulatory Reporting Manager will be responsible to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of all regulatory reporting, including but not limited to requirements of Resolution & Recovery, Foreign Based Technology Service Provider reporting, and any other on-demand reporting requirements from any of the regulatory bodies overseeing JPMC.  This individual will also be responsible our reporting demand management process, facilitating the review, prioritization and assignment of incoming requests, and the collection and publishing of updates associated with these requests.  This role will include direct and indirect management of certain GSS reporting resources among the following deliverables:

  • Ensure the timely and accurate delivery of periodic reporting in support of the Resolution & Recovery requirements around contracts, supplier spend and exit plans associated with engagements critical to one of the 15 critical banking operations defined by the Fed
  • Engage with the R&R Core Team, Third Party Management Offices (TPMOs) and R&R Program Management Offices (PMOs) to obtain feedback and approvals required during each reporting cycle
  • Identify and implement changes as appropriate to enhance data quality and improve processes in the generation, review and approval of all R&R reports
  • Lead efforts to integrate production of supplier spend appendices 13 and 33 into protocol already established for appendices 14, 31 and 34 (associated with supplier contracts) and 30 (exit plans associated with critical engagements)
  • Produce annual Foreign Based Technology Service Provider report to the OCC, leveraging feedback supplied by the TPMOs
  • Manage and develop junior resource to increase capacity, improve productivity and expand fungibility to enable future career opportunities
  • Assist in process to migrate this reporting from existing Access databases to more strategic Oracle reporting database
  • Produce status reports and escalate issues to appropriate senior management as needed
  • Manage the in-take, review, prioritization and assignment of all requests coming into the GSS Business Intelligence, Reporting & Analytics team, including status updates associated with those requests
  • Partner with the team responsible for report development and production as needed
  • Manage projects associated with all regulatory reporting deliverables and assist in the management of other GSS reporting related projects as needed

Reporting:

The Regulatory Reporting Manager reports to the Strategic Reporting Manager for the firm's GSS Business Intelligence, Reporting & Analytics team.Experience:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business (Accounting or Finance preferred)
  • 7+ years professional experience; 2+ years in support of regulatory reporting requirements
