Job Description:

A Program Manager is required to deliver the end to end requirements for the CIB Cross Border program for the allocated workstreams. The CIB Cross Border Program is responsible for developing formal and consistent Cross Border processes and controls across the CIB related to the Banks international activities. These processes need to ensure that activities are consistent with global requirements and minimum corporate standards, and in compliance with local law, rules and regulations. This is a Firmwide initiative which has a Wholesale component that entails establishing a Global Cross Border framework which includes a library of country specific rules, control processes, monitoring processes and technology solutions designed to identify and mitigate Cross Border risk in the distribution of products and services. These procedures will ensure that activities are consistent with global requirements and in compliance with local laws, rules and regulations.

 

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Program Management of s Workstream within CIB Cross Border program
  • Define governance and project structure
  • Supporting and presenting when required the CIB Cross Border Steering Committee.
  • Ensure accuracy and consistency of messaging with other LOBs and to Corporate
  • Maintain and enhance consistent and timely reporting and metrics
  • Assist with the review and approval process for
    • Accomplishments through previous year
    • Comparison of deliverables against other LOBs
    • Determine baseline success criteria for completion of Cross Border activity
    • Define remaining scope of work
  • Leverage existing similar programs to address remediation
  • Review remediation plans to quantify revenue risk, feasibility
  • Determine execution owners, timelines and milestones across the CIB
  • Involvement in other key global, strategic initiatives, as directed
  • Proactively identify and resolve barriers, risks and interdependencies
  • Identify and communicate control gaps, risks, proposed improvements
  • Drive progress through effective escalation of issues and concerns

    Qualifications
     

    • Strong Program Management skills with the abilities to coordinate and drive a global Program XLOB and functional Unit
    •  Experience in Financial Services, Operational Risk Management, Control Oversight and/or similar role
    • Strong communication and collaborative skills and demonstrated ability to work across functions with project sponsors and balance the needs of multiple stakeholder groups
    • Strong presentation skills including generating presentations and effectively communicating to senior management
    • Knowledge of CIB products (Markets, Banking, Investor Services) preferable
    Understanding of risk and controls to design and develop a Controls and Monitoring framework
    • Creative and innovative problem solver, ability to communicate new ideas, and inspire support

    PLEASE NOTE: ALL INTERNAL MOVES WILL NORMALLY TAKE PLACE ON THE SAME GRADE AND SAME SALARY. SALARIES ARE REVIEWED ANUALLY IN FEBRUARY. EXCEPTIONS TO THE RULE REGARDING TRANSFER ON CURRENT SALARY MAY INCLUDE A MOVE BETWEEN GEOGRAPHIC LOCATIONS.
