In partnership with Global Finance Operations, Corporate Systems Infrastructure (CSi), and others, we deliver solutions that meet the requirements of our key clients. RFT provides technology support for general ledger, profitability, cost allocations, treasury, accounts payable, reference data, project accounting and fixed assets, and reporting tools and the Risk applications. Continual enhancement of the confidentiality, integrity and availability of data and systems through a robust information security agenda is a key strategic objective of JP Morgan Chase. Cyber Security and Identity & Access Management are growing areas with significant senior management support. A number of workstream, programs and projects are planned to further enhance the security and controls across the company.


The CISO organization within Risk & Finance Technology is looking for an Application Developer to join the Identity & Access Management team.  The I&AM team coordinates closely with the Global Identity & Access Management team and all other lines of business to develop firm-wide projects and priorities and works with Risk & Finance Technology on implementation.  The team works in the areas of access management, entitlements, access provisioning and recertification and maintains a central Entitlements platform.


The successful candidate will be responsible for working within one of the highest growth areas within JP Morgan Chase. The candidate will work on supporting the existing applications within the Entitlement’s platform and onboarding new applications. The role supports both technology and the business in implementing end to end requirements required for the application from a functional as well as a data perspective.


Key Responsibilities:


The Java Application Developer is responsible for providing high quality technology solutions that address the control needs for Risk and Finance Technology.


In this role, the Application Developer will be involved in the entire lifecycle of the project including design, build, test and implementation phases, ensuring quality and accuracy is maintained and on-going support. The developer should be able to work with offshore team, QA team and business. The developers should be able to innovate on the existing platform to make it more efficient and robust.


Responsibilities:

Support and integrate applications managed on the Entitlements Engineer.    This includes developing new features and problem identification and resolution.

 

The applications utilize technologies including Java/J2EE,Oracle PL/SQL.    Adhere to all corporate and departmental standards and policies.      Maintain and enhance existing applications integrated with the engine as needed.

 

Tune application code for optimal performance.  Work with customers to understand application/ project requirements for new projects and enhancements.  Organize multiple work tasks and prioritize them to meet deadlines.    Trouble shoot issues reported by end-users (Application and Data)

Five years’ experience as a application developer executing projects within the financial services

industry.  

Bachelors’ degree required;  experience in  Identity and Access Mgmt a plus. 

Strong experience with Java/J2EE Oracle PL/SQL.  Excellent analytical, problem solving.

·         Highly disciplined, self-motivated, and delivery-focused individual who is able to work independently

·         Excellent analytical and communication skills (verbal and written)
