Cybersecurity is chartered with managing and directing the security programs focused on the discipline of cyber security design, implementation, analytics, threats, monitoring, response, and investigation across the organization. Our core services are focused on assuring the security of the computing environment, protect customer and employee confidential information, and comply with regulatory requirements globally. This is accomplished through strong information risk governance, active collaboration with business risk managers, and providing high quality security solutions and services which enable improving the organization's overall risk posture.
 
This position is anticipated to require the use of one or more High Security Access (HSA) systems.  Users of these systems are subject to enhanced screening which includes both criminal and credit background checks, and/or other enhanced screening at the time of accepting the position and on an annual basis thereafter.  The enhanced screening will need to be successfully completed prior to commencing employment or assignment.
 
The Application Developer will design; develop workflow application using Pega Rules Processor Commander (PRPC) to support multiple lines of business. PRPC is a Java-based development toolkit automating work processes across disparate operations areas using an accelerated agile development model.
 
The successful candidate will be a project team member leading applicable project life-cycle phases including technical requirements, design, construction and integration testing. Additionally, candidate will ensure that he/she adhere to coding standards, procedures and techniques, and that all technical documentation is complete and in compliance with company standards.
  • Participate in project planning sessions to analyze business requirements
  • Create technical requirements, technical designs, coding unit testing and supporting user testing. 
  • Work with a team of developers on global initiatives
  • Provide estimates and updates to project managers 
  • Learn and employ the bank’s IT Control Policy and Corporate Architectural Standards when designing and building application workflows and create appropriate project documentation
  • Debug application issues and provide 3rd level support for resolution of production issues. 
  • 7+ years of experience as an Application Developer
  • 5+ years of experience with Pega Systems PRPC (7.x preferred, 6.x required)
  • 3+ years’ experience of enterprise level systems development with strong knowledge of industry standard interface protocols (i.e. SOAP, MQ, HTTP, EJB, etc.)
  • In depth knowledge of design, development, testing and debugging skills in PRPC
  • Proficient in explaining application architecture and design
  • Strong working knowledge or Pega Standards and Guardrails
  • Strong knowledge of PRPC optimization, profiling, and trouble shooting
  • Familiarity with Object Oriented Concepts and how it applies in PRPC
  • Experience in creating technical design documents and performing code reviews
  • Working knowledge of SQL
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to rapidly create prototypes
  • Ability to identify reuse patterns
  • Exposure to version control tools and processes
  • Knowledge of agile/scrum methodology
  • Strong skills in project management methodologies and tools
