The Digital Services supports public Internet sites for all lines of business within J. P. Morgan Chase. Digital Services is comprised of over 500 professionals located in Delaware, New York, Ohio, Florida Washington, California and Illinois. The group consists of senior business strategists, developers, infrastructure and architecture specialists, information architects, usability professionals, interactive designers, editors and other project support and operations staff. Digital Analytics is tasked with measuring and analyzing the current customer experience when using the bank’s web and mobile products and to provide actionable recommendations to enhance the consumer experience in order to build long term, profitable customer relationships.
 As a Technical Data Analyst, you will work as a member of a cross-functional team to improve the online and mobile experience for our customers.  You will be responsible for data collection on Web and Mobile to ensure analytics data are captured within our reporting platforms. The successful candidate must be able to troubleshoot data requests, configure changes on the fly and maintain data integrity.
Responsibilities include:
  • Work closely with business solution analysts, review development specifications, identify and work to resolve tagging/analytics gaps.
  • Drive the analytics data collection and measurement efforts by translating the business requirements into feature measurement specifications.
  • Own the feature measurement specifications development and documentation efforts.
  • Develop and document data collection standards for all new development efforts/site functions.
  • Manage tagging defects - Monitoring changes/implementations, validations and track defect resolutions.
  • Provide consistent updates on the status of progress/issues, risks and concerns to digital analytics management.


  • 3+ years relevant experience require working with data collection on web and mobile projects
  • Hands on experience with behavioral analytics tools and techniques, such as Adobe Insight, Ensighten and etc…
  • Prior experience with tag management tools preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively with business partners, and technical resources in analytics and data management
  • An understanding of changes in the digital products/services space
  • Ability and desire to work in a start-up paced environment and culture
