Technology Business Analyst resource is required to perform requirements gathering and analysis on multiple Private Bank Client Service and Operations business initiative projects.  The individual will work with representatives from PB Business and Operations to define scope, functional solutions, user stories, manage issues, and create SDLC deliverables, i.e. project initiation document, business requirements, user stories, functional specifications, test strategy and approach, and meeting minutes.  In addition, this BA resource will be responsible for relationship management and facilitating meetings with business partners and technology colleagues.
Primary Responsibilities
  • Partner with GWM business and Application Development team to understand and document functional business and data requirements.
  • Create user stories/functional specifications/wire frames/process flows/data analysis for specified project initiatives.
  • Facilitate/participate in scrum ceremonies with business and technology stakeholders including daily scrums, product backlog grooming, sprint demos, etc.
  • Conduct test planning and execution (test strategy, test cases, test scripts, expected results).
  • Control project scope, identify and resolve key issues and risks.
  • Manage project timeline to ensure quality, on-time deliverables.
  • Create current and future state application process flows.
  • Facilitate solution architecture and technology estimates.
  • Work as a team player with global technology team members as well as the business.
  • 2 years coding experience required.
  • 1 year business analysis experience preferred.
  • Agile methodology experience preferred.
  • Experience in Data Analysis and Mapping, Flow Charting, Use Cases and Requirements Traceability.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build business relationships.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment and extremely results oriented.
  • Ability to understand and articulate business requirements.
  • Experience in creation of user stories, functional specifications, test strategies and test cases.
  • Experience in SDLC and project delivery.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Demonstrated strong leadership skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently, extremely self-motivated, and willing to learn.
  • Ability to be flexible, follow and meet tight deadlines, organize and prioritize work.
  • Financial systems knowledge.
  • College degree or equivalent work experience.
