This position will be lead analysis and reporting for internal, external and regulatory requirements, developing procedures and controls and working on special projects that are common place in the CCB Mortgage Systems area.  In addition, working on projects to improve the efficiency and accuracy of the reported data and analysis for system automation would be expected.   This individual would have the ability to compile and present complex information in a clear and concise fashion to senior management.

The responsibilities of the role can include, but will not be limited to:

  • Supporting the CCB CFOs, Controllers and External reporting
  • Analyzing various processes and developing and implementing improvements
  • Develop relationships and work closely with the CFOs, Controllers, Planning and Analysis team, External Reporting, Risk, Operations and other contacts within the Firm
  • Support ad-hoc analysis
  • Retrieving large datasets from multiple systems of record and performing analysis
  • Writing and reviewing business requirements for process improvements
  • Presenting results and status to senior management
  • 7+ years of professional accounting and/or banking experience
  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in accounting and/or finance, a must
  • Experience working in an environment that requires attention to detail and the adherence to strict rules and standards
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills; ability to present information to senior management in a concise manner
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong knowledge of Excel, Access, Info One, MSP, SAP, and SQL
  • Process Analysis / Process improvement a plus
  • Ability to identify issues, seek solutions and gain consensus regarding outcome
  • Ability to streamline existing process and create new  processes
  • Team player and self-starter
  • Control mindset
