Overview: Global Wealth Management Investments Business Management works with Asset Class Leaders and Investment Team Leaders to manage and execute initiatives across the Private Bank. The group partners with Legal, Compliance, and Risk to define and implement solutions to comply with new regulations and business requirements across multiple entities and jurisdictions.


Global Investment Opportunities: The individual in this role will be aligned to the Global Investment Opportunities (GIO) Group which seeks to provide sophisticated investors with opportunistic, absolute return investment ideas by facilitating institutional level execution across asset classes through a team based approach.  The team is fifty-five members with wide-ranging expertise and experience across markets, asset classes and geographies.  The Integrated team structure provides multiple points of contact for seamless coverage.  The group has dedicated credit officers to offer customized borrowing solutions and fast turnaround times.  In addition there are desk analysts committed to disseminating the firm's best ideas for opportunistic investors.  The team provides market access around the clock through desks in New York, London, Geneva, Hong Kong and Singapore.  This international presence provides global perspective with local market insight and access to extensive research, as well as the ability to provide local execution in all major markets across the globe.


Role and Responsibilities:

  • Work with Senior Management and teams across the Private Bank, including: Asset Class Specialists, Investors, Investment Team Leaders, and Operating Committee Members, to drive business priorities
  • Develop a detailed understanding of current-state processes and procedures, identify weaknesses, gaps and opportunities for improvement
  • Present business proposals and conduct checkpoints with Senior Management for review and approval
  • Meet key deliverable/milestone deadlines
  • Establish and lead working groups, requiring effective partnership with the following groups: Investments; Legal; Compliance; Technology; Operations; Product & Platform; Risk Management; Marketing; Finance; and Human Resources
  • Measure results via business, client, and team impact
  • Proactively propose new ideas on both process improvement as well as business innovation


  • Ability to execute within a fast-paced and demanding environment, while managing multiple concurrent projects
  • Proactive, accountable, and assertive; strong work ethic
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and comprehensive project management approach 
  • Confidence and skill to think strategically, develop solutions, and present recommendations to business leaders
  • Ability to quickly analyze business practices to identify risk and develop innovative solutions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear and concise manner
  • Strong proficiency with PowerPoint slide creation and intermediate excel modeling required
  • Superior judgment and discretion working with both confidential and sensitive information
  • Agile team player with the ability to work with diverse working styles on projects and coordinate resources effectively


  • Broad understanding of JPMorgan Asset Management, and Global Wealth Management specifically
  • 3-6 years of experience in business management and/or project management in financial services
  • Working knowledge of capital markets
  • Experience with the global regulatory initiatives are a plus, but not required
  • Proven track record of delivering projects, complex product and/or new business initiatives
