Corporate Technology and Risk (CT&R) covers Controls, Compliance, Legal and HR. The IT Risk agenda is to ensure the security and resiliency of the Firm's computing environment, protect customer and employee confidential information, and comply with regulatory requirements globally. We accomplish this through strong information risk leadership and active collaboration with line of business information risk managers to provide high quality security solutions and services that are focused on improving the Firm's risk posture.

 

The Technology Controls Framework & Practices team is part of CT&R and is responsible for the governance of the IT Risk Framework – identifying risks and controls, promoting assessments and remediation activities, and supporting a strong risk reporting function.

 

The IT Risk Reporting Analyst will be responsible for providing operational and analytical support to the IT risk reporting program, which includes:

  • Development, evolution, and data integrity of key risk indicators (KRI) and key performance indicators (KPI) that lead to firmwide reporting of the "IT Risk Posture"
  • Creation of production and ad hoc business intelligence reporting; and
  • Analyses of gaps, trends, and areas for concern
  • Interpretation of key performance trends

The person will become a member of the Technology Controls & Reporting team. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in analyzing data, with preference for developing or analyzing IT Risk KRIs and KPIs, and representing results visually. Other essential functions of this role are:

 

Partnership

  • A fundamental requirement within the Risk Management Function is the ability to operate as a team and in partnership.
  • The candidate must be able to partner across the technology and business teams to maximize the quality, integration and effectiveness of the risk management coverage. This requires a very proactive, open and communicative approach through all aspects of planning and execution.
  • Such a partnership is also expected with the other business-aligned risk managers, sharing the common goal of providing a well-controlled operating environment to maximize value to our shareholders.

Communication

  • The individual is expected to be able to communicate concisely and effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • The ability to communicate effectively with both technologists and business personnel is critical, including the usage of business relevant terms to describe technology risks.

  • 5+ years professional experience including Business Management, Data Analysis and Reporting functions in an enterprise environment
  • 3+ years of IT Risk Management experience
  • Experience with or knowledge of developing Key Risk Indicators or Key Performance Indicators
  • Solid data management experience, including implementation of data integrity programs to ensure quality of reported data
  • Demonstrated expertise in data analysis and data visualization techniques
  • Exceptional Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Access) skills
  • Technology systems design or business analysis skills a plus
  • SharePoint development experience a plus
