An ideal candidate would be the COO/CTO/CPO of a successful commercial product company with expertise in end-to-end platform engineering in a “turnaround” situation. The candidate should have the ability to improve credibility on the current product offering while developing a strategic solution.
The candidate should be well versed with the securities industry with strong understanding on performance, risk, regulatory and compliance issues in one or more asset classes.
Ideal candidate should have strong understanding of logical data modeling, infrastructure requirements, APIs and content delivery methodologies for the securities business.
Ability to design solutions for high-end rules based analytics
Good understanding of business-intelligence tools is important
The candidate should have leadership skills to lead a group of product development analysts and have robust delivery skills in getting these products implemented from inception to planning and client-adoption.
On the thread of leadership, the candidate must have exhibited leadership in working across all lines - sales, product, technology and operations in developing solutions and training for these complex products
Understanding of data-science techniques is preferred
