CIB Ops - Cash Risk Control Manager - Vice President

Job Description

Control Manager who has a strong understanding of the risks and controls surrounding Operational processes within the SCPP subledger for both cash and stock transactions. Manager needs to be able to identify weaknesses in various processes and put in controls to reduce or eliminate the risks of potential lost. The role requires control, project management, and accounting mindset as they will be engage as key person in setting up new control for new transactions and projects. The position manages the firm reconciliation system for Scpp subledger and provides oversight of Bangalore Control Team of the daily production of approximately 50 reconciliations. The manager will also assist with audits.   

 

This role requires an experienced reconciliation or risk manager with excellent communication skills and a history of process improvement. Will need to acquire a strong understanding of the controls and associated risks surrounding the Operational processes within the SCPP sub-ledger for both cash and stock transactions and manage the oversight of an offshore team responsible for the analysis and production of approx. 50 daily reconciliations.

 

Needs to be able to identify weaknesses and put in robust controls to reduce or eliminate the risk of potential loss. Experience working with project managers as a stakeholder is preferred as this role will include frequent engagement to identify and implement control requirements for new business flows.

 

As this role is a recognized supervisory function by the regulators a FINRA registration is required. The successful incumbent must have, or within 60 days of starting the role, have passed the series 99 examination. Current registrations at the 7, 24 or 27 level are also acceptable.
