This position is part of Business Card Risk Management team and will be responsible for providing thought leadership and analytic skills to develop, monitor and manage business card risk and control procedures. Ability to identify risks and problems, conduct in depth research, and articulate well defined proposed solutions is required.

  • Conduct deep dive analyses assessing portfolio risks and opportunities leveraging advanced analytical techniques
  • Develop Business Card Corporate Liability and High Line management strategies and analyze financial dynamics
  • Business Card lead to support CCB and CCS level data and analytical initiatives
  • Deep understanding of businesses and lead the design and implementation of monitoring and controls on credit policies and strategies
  • Work with Card Risk Management colleagues (Acquisition, Portfolio, COE)  to design, develop, and automate MIS reporting including BCBS support
  • Direct and coordinate with Risk Execution for Monitoring and MIS Reporting execution. Ensure robust control and governance to manage operational risk
  • Manage projects in a cross-functional orgs working collaboratively across Risk COE's and xLOB partners

  

  • Master’s degree, or equivalent job experience

  • 3+ years of related work experience is required

  • Expertise with software packages including SAS, SQL, MS OFFICE

  • Experience performing advanced analytics, categorical data analysis and optimization procedures

  • Proven analytical thinker with ability to identify, analyze and solve problems in a thoughtful and organized manner

  • Result oriented with attention to details

  • Strong muti-tasking skills and sensible to manage timelines

  • Ability to present to Senior Management displaying excellent verbal and written communication skills to influence outcomes.

Preferred Skills

  • Previous experience in Small Business Lending and familiarity with Commercial Credit Bureaus is a plus
