Responsibilities:
  • As a Windows engineer, you will work in a fast paced team environment in the ATM, Debit, and Teller Technology team. 
  • You will manage and execute engineering projects within the scope of a large scale retail banking platform, and support these projects as they move into test and production environments. 
  • You must be able to see the big picture in your engineering efforts, and work outside the box.
  • Must be able to build and maintain Microsoft Server and Desktop hardware and software for windows application development and test environments.
  • Experience with PowerShell, Microsoft Visual Studio languages (VB, C#) required, Argo or Alogent a plus.
 
 
Qualifications
 
Technical Skills- 
  • 3-5 years of experience in Information Technology in a large corporate environment supporting Windows 2008 and Windows 2012.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a DEVOPS role with Powershell, Microsoft SQL Server and IT engineering.
  • Strong skills in Visual Studio using VB and C#.
  • Strong skills in MS SQL Server 2008 and 2014.

  • High level of personal commitment to each task, a can do attitude and a drive to deliver.
  • Strong communication skills written and verbal, able to communicate at all levels.
  • High level of responsibility and Ownership from inception through to implementation.
  • The candidate should have a proactive approach to problem solving.
  • Good analysis skills in order to aid in trouble shooting and problem solving.
  • Good testing principles as well as good defect management skills.
  • Strong issue management and ownership skills.  
Education and Experience-
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or Information Technology.
  • Knowledge of release management version and revision control practices and procedures.
  • Strong knowledge of software development life cycles.  
Preferred Skills & Experience
  • Must have full life-cycle experience in large, global multi-tiered systems, preferably in the financial industry.
  • Excellent interpersonal relationship and communication / presentation skills.
  • Strong technical documentation skills.
  • Demonstrates initiative and is a self starter.
  • Drive/Determination and knowledge.
