Job Description:
 
The User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Mainframe - Production Support Analyst for the Mainframe Applications Operate group is required to work with other onshore and offshore team members to support and maintain System Integration Testing and User Acceptance Testing online and batch regions.   He/she will be responsible for keeping code, job schedules and data in synch with production, along with executing SIT/UAT batch cycles. The candidate must be willing to work on site (no tele-commuting) on every business day.
 
Responsibilities:
  • The individual will support the following SIT/UAT  activities for all Mainframe applications
  • Running batch cycles
  • Resolving and logging failed jobs
  • Maintaining test regions as close to production as possible
  • Code promotion /demotion
  • Updating job scheduler
  •  Refreshing and masking of data
  • Creating REXX utilities for process automation/performance improvement
  • Creating/maintaining documentation for various processes
  • 7-10 years of work experience of Mainframe application development work and support.
  • 7 - 10 years of work experience with COBOL, CICS, DB2, JCL, VSAM, Ezetrieve, Changeman, Abendaid, Fileaid and other support technologies
  • 7 + years of work experience with systems support and debugging
  • Knowledge of version and revision control practices and procedures
  • Knowledge of ZEKE scheduler, a plus
