Americas Custody Product Management : VP/ED, Global Custody  
This role is a critical component of the Global Custody business in the Americas region. The key responsibility of this individual will be to manage the Global Custody business in the US, Canada and Latin America with a focus on a particular client segment (e.g., Asset Managers, Pensions, Insurers, Alternatives, Banks & Broker Dealers).
This individual will own all commercial aspects of our global Product offering for clients in the region, with a focus on managing the P&L, ensuring profitable client growth and retention for the Global Custody business. The role will be the primary face of the Global Custody Product organization to our clients and client-facing teams, working closely with Sales to deliver new Custody business to the firm and solutions to our client base. 
In the role, the candidate will be responsible for Global Custody pipeline development and prioritization, deal review and approval, financial analysis, client retention strategy, and contract negotiation. The individual will fully engage in the Custody & Fund Services deal management and approval process, including reviewing new deals for product, service, financial and legal suitability.  They will partner with colleagues in Sales, Risk, Legal and Solutions to help deliver and bring in new Custody business and will also manage strategic projects and initiatives, including prospect analysis, financial/ revenue pipeline review, process transformation, and product solutioning. Ultimately, this individual will be charged with driving the Global Custody business for a selection of client segments in the region.
This position is based in New York and reports to the head of the Americas Global Custody business.
  • Overall accountability for the Global Custody P&L and Strategy for a client segment(s) in the region
  • Own the development and execution of the new business plan for the region, including partnering with sales on client prioritization and engagement, deal pricing, and product solutioning
  • Review and approve all new deals as part of the deal approval process and deal life-cycle including pricing, non-standard legals, and customized solutions
  • Act as the primary product counterpart to our top clients in the region ensuring that product roadmaps, industry and regulatory changes and initiatives are regularly and appropriately communicated
  • Develop thought leadership and present at client meetings and pitches on timely issues & events relevant to the custody product, market changes, etc. as well as the value proposition of our product offering
  • Act as the client advocate on all change related requests and client issues, working with key partners in Product Development, Operations and Service as appropriate
  • Help drive and communicate the development of the Global Custody product roadmap
  • Be  the primary point of contact and product partner to Sales, Relationship Managers, Client Service, and Middle Office for Custody clients
  • Provide custody subject matter expertise with respect to the custody products
  • Understand the business and operating models for each of the respective product components and how our clients utilize these services
