Corporate Technology & Risk - GTRM - (Global Technology Resiliency Management) is responsible for providing the firm with governance and oversight for technology resiliency. The organization drives Firmwide technology resiliency and risk initiatives.


As part of its remit, the Tools and Reporting group within GTRM develops solutions that facilitate governance by creating solutions that automate processes and report on various aspects of technology resiliency. It is responsible for designing and developing frameworks and solutions that helps GTRM as well as its customers manage the estate. The team provides strategy, engineering and solutions. The team is responsible for developing based in global standards for Resiliency, and implementing solutions that will assist in this space.


As a lead developer, your role will be to design and code solutions as required in this space. You should be able to develop, extend and document best practices for software development for use within the team. You should mentor other developers in the team, provide guidance for design best practices, and perform peer reviews of code developed by others in the team. You must ensure that code developed by you and others in the team meets best practices, is secure, scalable, maintainable and complies with firm standards. The solution should pass all tests and use cases defined in the requirements. For this role, the technologies required will be TSQL, SSIS, ASP.Net, and C#. Must be familiar with data modeling and database concepts.

  • Minimum of 15 years experience as a developer of which 7+ in a lead role.
  • Minimum 7+ years experience as a lead with strong server side hands-on coding experience using TSQL, ASP.Net, C# in Windows environments.
  • Minimum 7+ years experience hands-on coding/development experience required in at least 4 of the following:
    • TSQL
    • C#
    • ASP.Net
    • WebServices REST and SOAP
    • Python or Powershell scripting
    • Other: XML, ETL, JDBC
  • In-depth technical understanding of the following:
    • Experience developing databases: JDBC, SQLServer. stored procedures, functions, triggers.
  • Software development requirement:
    • Must have experience designing and develop technical solutions for a large production environment
    • Experience with SDLC methodology in a team environment a must.
    • Must adhere to development best practices: Security, reusability, supportability, logging, auditing, error handling etc
    • Prior development in IIS and SQLServer environments a must
    • Hands on use of Subversion, Maven, Jenkins or other equivalent code management tools
    • Hands on use of Visual Studio 2012, SQL Management Studio 2012, DataTools 2012, or other IDE
    • Exposure to standardized testing methodologies.
  • Strong communication and technical writing skills is mandatory.
  • Bachelor's degree or the equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Electronics or related technical field. Masters degree a plus.
  • Must have hands on experience in at least 4 of these Platforms
