The Ops Workstation team is seeking a developer to implement tools for operations users, perform system integration, QA and maintenance of a C# application used by global asset management operations to identify and resolve errors, exceptions and breaks. The team member will be involved in all stages of the project lifecycle including requirements definition, development, and implementation in production environments using Agile methodology. This position is hands-on and requires creating innovative solutions for challenging database integration and workflow problems and an intense desire to work as part of a cohesive team.
  • Work as part of the team to deliver on critical projects and work related items
  • Utilize Agile methodology and adhere to coding standards, procedures and techniques while contributing to the technical code documentation
  • Design, develop, code, test, debug and document
  • Analyze and resolve Level 3 production issues
  • Collaborate with team and come up with solutions for any identified problem by team
  • Analyzing and documenting problems, recommending solutions, and initiating corrective action.
  • Performing additional duties as required
  • Minimum  2 years of financial application development/consulting experience
  • Should be dependable, results oriented and possess solid communication skills
  • Solid understanding of financial instruments and/or accounting data in financial setting
  • Deep understanding of different databases including ORACLE, Sybase and others.  PL/SQL and TransactSQL a big plus
  • Hands-on SQL developer including the ability to analyze schemas, carry out performance tuning and integrate disparate data sources
  • Some hands on .NET/C# development experience required
  • Should be dependable, results oriented and possess solid communications skills
  • Solid understanding of financial instruments and/or accounting data in financial setting
  • Knowledge of Informatica, Control-M, Scripting and Python are desired but not required

  • Must be able to see tasks through to completion without significant guidance
