This Compliance function will support the Global Chief Privacy Officer and will report directly into the Global Head of Privacy Governance.   The function will be responsible for assisting in the development and maintenance of an enterprise-wide governance program that will oversee and support the implementation of data protection and privacy requirements, driving a consistent approach, and assist with oversight of Global Privacy risks/issues, including identification, assessment, measurement,  monitoring and reporting on these risks.
A successful candidate will have the ability to support multiple initiatives and projects, with a primary responsibility for collaborating Globally with each line of business/corporate function to develop an effective Global Privacy “Analytics and Reporting”  Program.  The Program will be implemented in line with the JPMC standards, and applied consistently across the various lines of business and jurisdictions of operations.  Functional accountabilities include capturing, and analyzing Corporate/Regional/LOB Privacy related metrics including results from risk assessments, control deficiencies, testing, audit, technology breaks, privacy incidents etc.
The function will be required to lead or support a number of governance/privacy reporting related initiatives, special privacy projects, and work close with the GCPO, Global Data Protection & Privacy Regional Leads, Line of Business Compliance Leads, and other key stakeholders across the enterprise. 
Core Responsibilities include:
  • Strengthen the Global Analytics and Reporting Privacy Program to include plans for developing analytics/reporting to collecting, processing, storage, transmittal, accessing and destruction of personal information.  Additional areas of coverage include marketing, opt-outs, privacy notifications, and incident management, and may be expanded at the direction of the Global Chief Privacy Officer.
  • Standardize analytics and reporting to create and enforce minimum standards/templates to drive consistency with JPMorgan Corporate and Global Privacy requirements;
  • Develop methodology and document processes/process flows to ensure proper identification, capture and syndication of privacy including tracking/reporting on open risks, actions, remediation plans that provide transparency into key risks. 
  • Work closely with Regional/LOB Privacy Leads, Control Officers to define the Key Privacy Risks to capture, assess and report.
  • Develop and implement model reporting templates; effectively and efficiently train staff to use source systems to develop customized report for Regional/LOB forums or committees.
  • Identify trends and provide recommendations and guidance to the business, control and  compliance officers.
  • Create management information, dashboards and presentations for Senior Management, Control Committees, Privacy Forums to report on the status of the overall Privacy Program; Participate and assist in preparing for governance/regulatory meetings and stakeholder forums.  Present as required.
  • Partner with the Compliance and Control officers to report on the results of various risk assessment processes designed to control Privacy Risk, or other controls that are connected to data protection & privacy risks. 
  • Collaborate with Legal & Compliance to develop reporting/metrics surrounding Data Protection & Privacy regulatory developments, potential impacts on the Firm and overall preparedness.
  • Develop and administer Privacy Compliance surveys to assist in assessing the status of the overall Privacy Program coverage model including the proper identification of material risks, thematic issues or emerging risks   Results incorporated into strategic planning efforts/management reports to assist with resource allocations, and identify gaps.
  • Perform outreach to Privacy Incident Response Teams to assist in the reporting needs, assist as required with maintaining system of record for incidents and conducting QC on Incident Cases.
  • Assist in preparing the Annual GLBA Report to report on the overall status of the Privacy Program; ensure proper coordination with IT Risk.
  • Assist in strengthening the analytics and reporting for the Privacy training framework; Provide formal and ad-hoc reporting training as required.
  • Prepared a broad variety of reports and provides data and management information for clients, internal and/or external audiences
  • Provide reporting as required to support compliance testing/audit effort to better prepare them to focus on the key risks.
  • Develop business case to request budget to support the overall analytics and reporting structure, define any system requirements; partner with other reporting functions to support tools that are in place to capture risks.
  • BA/BS degree required
  • Minimum 5-7years of Financial Service compliance experience required; Regulatory and international experience a plus
  • Relevant Data Protection and Privacy experience, in particular with respect to the Privacy Program reporting and analytics.
  • Experience in reporting, analytics, and metric development; strong ability to work with Microsoft Office and various analytic and reporting tools 
  • Advanced level PC navigation skills, especially in Excel (pivots), PowerPoint, SharePoint and Word
  • Strong communication, presentation, written and influencing skills
  • • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Ability to produce accurate and complex work with minimal errors
  • Proven track record in building global working relationships and influencing actions
  • Strong understanding of best practices in developing analytics and reporting to capture salient information for JPMC as well a provide updates as required to external parties
  • Strong project management skills, with prior experience managing large-scale, time sensitive projects
  • Highly organized, extremely detail and control orientated 
  • Flexible in work style and ability to appropriately deploy and engage in work on team priorities
  • Effectively manage relationships, facilitates effective communication, and works with the senior team to assess needs, understand requirements and develop solutions
