Mobile Payments Technology (MPT) is the firm's emerging product development team for integrating payment capabilities into mobile platforms / wallets. MPT supports services directly related to mobile devices, third party wallet providers, and across JPMorgan Chase back-end systems. In addition, MPT will support some direct mobile application development. MPT is responsible for all mobile and online emerging digital payment technology across JPMorgan Chase, including credit and pre-paid card capabilities. This is a highly visible role where you will get to lead and manage one of the most exciting emerging digital payments products for the enterprise.
The Mobile Payments Technology group is looking for a Quality Assurance Developer to ensure that the software we deliver to our customers is of the highest quality with very few defects. You will work closely with our technology partners in Development and Architecture to ensure that what we build meets the technical specifications we intended. You will also work with our User Experience Designers, Business Systems Analysts and Product Managers to ensure that our applications meet our customers’ needs and makes banking with Chase simple, efficient and secure.
Create and maintain both manual and automated test scripts, test plans and schedules.
Execute manual and automated tests while development is taking place in order to identify defects as early in the process as possible.
Develop and execute certification test plans to ensure a project or feature is ready for our customers.
Help plan and participate in alpha and beta testing programs to incorporate early feedback into the final product.
Work with Project and Product Managers to provide visibility of platform and project health to our stakeholders.
Work with Architects and Developers to understand the system being built and develop a test plan that focuses particular attention on potential areas of vulnerability.
Actively participate in helping to maintain a reference document that reflects the latest business and technical requirements.
Actively work with Scrum Master, Business analysts, developers and business teams to help troubleshoot, triage issues.
