This position will act as a technical member of the CCB Business Banking IT Team. This is a diverse technical role where the candidate will participate in the development Business Banking Credit Origination and Sales & Service applications.  The candidate will be responsible for the successful implementation of a highly visible Business Banking applications used by the Business Banking Relationship Managers and back office users.
Responsibilities:
  • Responsible completing development activities for the BBIT applicationS.
  • Ensure that applications are aligned to architectural specifications.
  • Identify/troubleshoot application code-related issues.
  • Engage support teams as needed for shared services such as quality assurance, tech refreshes, and infrastructure upgrades.
  • Work closely with ITRM team to ensure successful implementation of risk Action Items and resolve known vulnerabilities in applications. 
  • Hands on recent coding experience with the latest WEB technologies, in particular Java, J2EE, Java Script, HTML, Spring
  • Work with GTI to specify Infrastructure requirements for Servers, Database, and Storage.
  • Design, deploy, and support automated ETL jobs for a variety of data sources.
  • Participate in project planning sessions including business analysis and implementing user requirements.
  • Tune SQL queries to optimize performance of all report and dashboard views.
  • Provide technical leadership to other developers and vendor resources.
  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert for BBIT Application space.
  • Bachelor's degree in MIS, Computer Science, Statistics, Business or equivalent work experience.
  • 4+ years of extensive hands on Application Development work experience throughout the entire project lifecycle. 
  • Java, J2EE, Java Script, HTML, Spring
  • Strong architecture, analysis, design, coding, and code review skills with Internet applications. 
  • Experience in profiling, identifying and optimizing existing code and code developed by other team members. 
  • Knowledge of version and revision control practices and procedures. 
  • Proven ability to work independently. 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong leadership and influencing skills.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with business analysts, solution architects, project managers and development teams.
